Alein currently has 5 levels of Paladin, 3 levels of Ranger, and 3 levels of Knight of the Chalice. Alein has just gained level 12, and I could use some advice on how to give her more offensive capability.
I'm tentatively planning to have her choose another level of Knight of the Chalice, and choose Improved Critical as her feat. I'm also thinking of having her use the +1 keen longsword in the common loot, rather than her +1 demon bane longsword (unless she is fighting an evil or chaotic outsider).
Beyond that, I think she could use gauntlets of ogre strength, and a higher rated longsword, should we come to a marketplace.
But even doing all this, she won't have anywhere near +21 to damage, like Thornseld. What am I doing wrong? What could I be doing to make her more useful in combat? All advice appreciated.
